Contenido Lorenzo Castillo

Born in Madrid, Lorenzo Castillo is a prestigious interior designer and decorator known for his classic, fresh, and eclectic taste. As an exquisite antique dealer, historian, and art dealer, he is passionate about blending the classic with the contemporary, creating unique environments through the use of the essential and the simple. In this sense, he affirms that interior design should be "the transformation of interiors into livable spaces suited to each individual's personality." As one of today's most sought-after designers, he has completed projects around the world, from the Dominican Republic to Florence and New York, among other cities. He has designed and decorated homes, hotels, restaurants, and shops. His most recent works include the renovation of a 17th-century mansion in the Lavapiés neighborhood of Madrid, where the designer himself resides, one of the finest examples of his unique style. This large-format book, dedicated exclusively to his professional career, is illustrated with photographs of nine of his most important projects taken by Manolo Yllera.
